We invite you to join Camp Rhythmo on a journey "over the rainbow" for our musical theatre workshop featuring a fully-staged performance of "The Wizard of Oz". This classic tale, in which a Kansas farm girl travels over the rainbow to discover the magical power of home, has been entertaining audiences for generations.
Please take time to carefully review all the below information
WORKSHOP INFORMATION
Production is open to students in Grades 1 thru high school
(Younger students may be considered for chorus parts only, but they will be actively involved as the show has a lot of music!)
ALL students will be cast (see below)
TUITION includes all rehearsals, costumes, and production libretto
Rehearsal Dates
(rehearsals are 9:00am to 2:00pm, unless otherwise noted)
June 26 - 30, 2017
Performance is on June 30 at 7pm
PLEASE NOTE:
- In order to keep our tuition cost as low as possible, each family will be asked to sell a minimum of 10 tickets to the performance.
- A nonrefundable registraion fee of $50 is included in the tuition cost. The tuition balance is nonrefunable after 6/10/17.
- Every student will be cast in the production. It is important that each student understands they must be willing to accept whatever role they are given. Younger students will likely be given chorus parts or minor roles.
- Due to the complexity of this production, principal roles may be asked to stay for additional rehearsal time.
- Attendance at all rehearsals your student is scheduled for is mandatory. Each rehearsal is crucial. Even if the cast member is ill, we would suggest they sit through the rehearsal and take notes on any blocking or choreography. Even one missing cast member in a scene makes everyone's job more complicated.
