Texas Women’s Empowerment Foundation (TWEF)

 Celebrates the Power & Purpose of Men and Mentorship!

 This year’s theme is “The State of the Modern Man: His Finances, His Faith, His Family”. There is no registration fee. However, participants will need to register online at http://twef.org/registration/events/ or by calling 832-434-5325. Donations are welcomed.

This exciting event will be held at The Empowerment Community Center located at 8333 Sweetwater Lane, Houston, Texas 77067 at 9:00 a.m. The M.E.N. Mentor Celebration will be moderated by inspirational artist Andre “007” Barnes, owner of Blessings Christian Bookstore. The event will include empowerment workshops, leadership forums, and life affirming, purpose filled “man talk”. High profiled professionals and business leaders will convene to be honored and provide leadership sessions. This event will also celebrate young men from the Eagle Scholars Student Enrichment Program that will complete an all expense paid, eighteen week program that includes personal mentorship, lifestyle empowerment, and an educational trip to Washington D.C.

 TWEF is proud to announce this year’s principal speakers, SVP of Public Affairs at Comerica Bank, Irvin Ashford Jr.; former Houston City Councilmember, Jarvis Johnson; Hip Hop Hope Founder and founder of Much Luvv records, Bobby “Tre9” Herring; and master entrepreneur Tyron McDaniel of Organo Gold Coffee. The event will conclude with the “What Makes the Great, Great: The Courageous Challenge”, Mentor Celebration and Awards Ceremony.
