Waco_ Texas

Waco has become a major destination city as the home of HGTV's Fixer Upper show and the Magnolia Market along with Baylor University, the Dr. Pepper Museum, Cameron Park Zoo, the Waco Mammoth National Monument and other attractions.

Accommodations:

Since this year’s Getaway Weekend is being held at the Baylor University’s Garland School of Social Work in downtown Waco, we do not have a contract with a specific hotel for sleeping rooms. There are a number of hotels in the downtown area and others along the I-35 corridor. Those living outside of the Waco area should make their own hotel reservations.
