Advance Screening of  "Bully"

We are excited to invite you to a special two part event!

First, come and watch an advance screening of the powerful new documentary directed by Lee Hirsch and produced by the Weinstein brothers, Bully. 

The film will immediately be followed by an informed discussion led by Dr. Donna Housman, a child psychologist and specialist in early education and development, focusing on Stopping Bullying BEFORE it Starts.

Dr. Housman founded and has been the Executive Director of Beginnings, a school for young children, for over 25 years that teaches the emotional compentencies necessary to prevent bullying by giving children the tools they need to express their feelings, thoughts, and emotions in a constructive way. She is honored to have been chosen by the Weinstein brothers to speak at this special evening and to bring attention to this important issue in our community.

The evening's events will start promptly at 7:00 PM beginning with a brief introduction by Dr. Donna Housman followed immediately by the screening of "Bully".

The run-time of the movie is 94 minutes.  The event is free of charge but registration is required.

Following the film, Dr. Housman will make some brief comments before opening the discussion to questions and comments from the audience. Dr. Housman's focus will be on prevention - ways to stop what was seen in the film before it ever starts.
