About the Competition

The Mid-Hudson Business Plan Competition has evolved each year with more representation from schools across the seven counties and over the years, the students have "Perfected their Pitch" showing passion, sophistication with thoroughly researched presentations leading to successful ideas.

In the first year of the competition, there were 16 teams from four schools. In 2017, 33 teams from 6 schools pitched their ideas to a panel of 16 judges, including angel investors, business consultants and commuity leaders. The level of enthusiasm generated by the students was enormous and the judges went above and beyond, offering free advice and consultation to the teams to help them further develop and launch their businesses.

Come hear how you and your school can become involved in this wonderful opportunity!
