Our Mastercam Instructor will guide our students through the Mastercam Multi-Axis Interface and the fundamentals of Multi-Axis Programming. In the class our students will learn to program many parts from start to finishing and cement the fundamentals of Mastercam Multi-Axis Programming with examples based upon real world scenarios. Upon completion of this class students will understand geometry selection, cut patterns, tool axis control, and collision avoidance for Mastercam Multi-Axis programming.
Classes run three days from 9:00AM to 4:00PM. Prerequisite- Mastercam Mill 2D and Mill 3D
3 Day Multi-Axis Syllabus
DAY ONE
•Intoduction to Multiaxis Machining Concepts,multiaxis machine types and machining techniques based on machine capabilities.
•Overview of Multiaxis Machine setup
•Overview of Cut Pattern, Tool Axis control and Tool tip control
•Introduction to Mastercam Multiaxis Toolpaths (Curve,Morph,Parrallel and Drilling Toolpaths)
•Student Question and Answer Session on day’s work
DAY TWO
•Introduction to Machine Simulation
•Overview of Collision Avoidance
•Continuation of Mastercam Multiaxis Toolpaths (Flowline,Multi Surf, Project Curve, Along Curve)
•Student Question and Answer Session on day’s work
DAY THREE
•Continuation of Applying Mastercam Multiaxis Toolpaths to Solid Geometry
•Overview of Multiaxis Linking / Safety Zone
•Continuation of Mastercam Multiaxis Toolpaths (4th Axis Rotary Cut / Axial Cut, Rotary Advanced)
•Student Question and Answer Session on day’s work
