Low-income, uninsured working-age adults in Oklahoma face numerous barriers to dental care. As a result, they have some of the worst oral health outcomes in the nation. Poor oral health negatively impacts their employability in addition to their overall health and well-being and the Pandemic has exacerbated this chronic, deep-seated dilemma.
This 2-hour webinar will explore these barriers to dental care, the organizations working to overcome them, and possible solutions to the access to care problem.
The fourth in the "Raising the Grade" series, the webinar will serve as an excellent introduction for those in healthcare and policy fields outside of dentistry. We encourage you to spread the word to others, especially to colleagues, partners and stakeholders outside of the dental arena, who are concerned about the overall health and well-being of Oklahomans.
Friday, March 5, 2021 at 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM via Zoom
This is a free webinar, but you must register in order to receive the meeting link and password.
