Trail Riding, Workshops & Mystery Weekend

Join us for fun weekend of mayhem in the Wild West during our Horses & Mystery Weekend and our Murder at the Deadwood Saloon Theme Party on Saturday Night.   Step back in time and become a real character from the west during this fun party game.  Participants can take on the personality and dress of their character.   

Bring your horse and hit the trails for a rootin tootin good ole time! 

 

Mystery at the Deadwood Saloon- Saturday Night

It’s the First Annual Deadwood Poker Tournament!

For weeks, people have been pouring into the small western town of Deadwood for the biggest poker tournament this side of the Mississippi. From outlaws to marshals and saloon girls to southern belles, everyone has made this small western frontier town THE place to be.

As the festivities of the poker tournament conclude, a celebration party is planned at the Deadwood Saloon to award the prize money for the tournament and to celebrate what is hoping to be a very financially successful venture for the saloon.

With a smattering of bandits, bankers, saloon girls, sheriffs, gamblers, east coast debutantes, and of course a few of the locals, this is guaranteed to make for a very interesting evening indeed.

 You would be crazy to miss this celebration!

 

Thursday, Friday & Saturday-

Spend your days playing this unique horse park in SC. Use one of the many arenas and  play on the many obstacles  as well as enjoy hitting the trails on the over 1600 acre private farm at your leisure. 
~View amazing wood art carvings located throughout the property. 
~You can Ride on your own or in a group at your leisure.
~Thursday is arrival & set up day.  
~Lunch will be served Friday on the trail at a designated location for riders to stop in and eat.  
~Saturday you have the option of participating or auditing Horsmanship Workshop/Demonstrations. (topics include Liberty, confidence on the trail & problem solving)

~Saturday Night is all about fun during our Night of Mystery with our Murder at the Deadwood Saloon Party Event!  Everyone will play a unique character attending the Deadwood Saloon Tournament when a crime occurs.  With clues you will have a chance to solve the mystery and be the big winner.  You can even dress the part and we will send you information on your character prior to the event.  Some example of cast of characters may include-
Harry High-Stakes ,Saloon Owner-As the organizer of this grand event
Harry has a lot at stake if it is not successful!
Holly Hickok, Gambler - A real southern belle with a flare for poker, many wonder what a girl
like Holly is doing in the Wild West?
-Campfire Chats each night
-Many amenities including bath house/restrooms, club house, wash stall, multiple arenas and security system.

Lunch on the trail: Southern 8ths Cowboy Chili

Dinner: Campfire Chat & Weenie Roast Night 

Saturday

Breakfast: Cowboy Coffee sausage gravy & biscuits 

Dinner: Bar-B-Que Night with the trimmings

Sunday

Breakfast: Cowboy Coffee  grits, gravy, bacon & cheese 

Cowboy Campfire, popcorn & smores each night (Fri & Sat)
Arrival early as Thursday after12 noon~ Depart Sunday by 4pm (no meals served on Thursday).
Fees: 
All  variety of all inclusive  packages include  trail riding, meals listed, demonstrations and workshops offered. Thursday-Sunday event.
