Mad River Clean Sweep 2013

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Mad River Clean Sweep scheduled for Saturday, August 17, 2013.

Volunteers may register to clean on the river in a canoe or at the put in site along the roads.  To register for a canoe based clean up on the Mad River or a walking clean up along the river, please click the link below. We will provide the canoes and tranportation for the clean up on the river.

To register for the clean sweep, click the "Register Now!" button below.  On the registration form, indicate which section of the river you would like to clean up.  You may register family members or friends when you register.  Please provide a contact information for emergencies or if the plans to the clean up change due to weather.

You are invited to the picnic after the clean sweep at the Davidson Interpretive Center at 5638 Lower Valley Pike, Springfield, OH 45506.  This picnic will be catered by Rudy's Smokehouse and will be managed as a zero-waste event, with all food, compostable dishes and utensils, unbleached napkins being COMPOSTED, any pop cans being recycled, and any non-compostable or non-recyclable materials being intentionally reduced.

Register Now!

AT THIS TIME, THE CLEAN SWEEP IS FULL.  WE ARE SO EXCITED THAT YOU ARE INTERESTED.  WE WILL HAVE ANOTHER NEXT YEAR.  WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU THERE.
