Habitat Heroes begins in just a few days!

Thanks to the outstanding support of our generous sponsors, we are excited to present national-caliber speakers and workshops at this 2018 affiliate conference. As you wrap up your travel preparations, we've gathered a few resources to help you make the most of your trip to Portland (click to access/download).

Schedule at-a-glance: You will receive a program with detailed information when you check in at the DoubleTree. 

Portland travel tips: This includes driving directions, public transportation from the Portland International Airport (PDX) and information about parking at the DoubleTree, plus a short list of restaurants and activities near the hotel.

Registration

 The Registration and Information Desk will be located in the main lobby of the DoubleTree.

  • Thursday, March 1 from 10 a.m. to noon and 4 to 8 p.m.
  • Friday, March 2 starting at 7 a.m.
  • Saturday, March 3 starting at 7 a.m.

Pre-conference information

If you signed up for one of the pre-conference options, please plan to arrive at the Habitat Heroes Registration Desk (located in the main lobby of the DoubleTree Hotel) prior to your event starting. The Registration Desk will open at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 1.

Neighborhood Revitalization Tour

  • Thursday, March 1 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • The tour will start in the Ross Island room (first level of the DoubleTree). We will bus you to the Cully neighborhood (lunch on-site) and back to the DoubleTree at the conclusion of the tour.

Washington State QLO Training

  • Thursday, March 1 from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m.
  • This training will be held in the Ross Island room (first level of the DoubleTree).

Competent Person Training

  • Day 1: Wednesday, February 28, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Day 2: Thursday, March 1, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • If you signed up for the Competent Person Training in Vancouver, WA, please head directly to the event location on Wednesday, February 28 and Thursday, March 1. You received a separate email with details to this event. 

Cancellations and payment receipts

Please see the bottom of the page for our cancellation policy. If you mailed a checked for registration, we will send a receipt as soon as we can.

*Cancellations made prior to the end of business on Monday, February 19 will be refunded (minus a $10 processing fee). Refunds will not be made after the posted date or for no-shows. Cancellations must be made in writing by fax (503-206-7456) or email to megan@habitatoregon.org (phone calls will not be accepted as official cancellation). Please allow four to six weeks after the conference for the refund to be provided. In lieu of cancelling you may transfer your registration to another person without penalty.
