Women in Leadership Series

In this series, we will analyze what lead-ing women in America's work front are saying about changing attitudes of working women, structural inequalities in the workplace and factors such as family rearing, appearance and long-term intellectual fulfillment. We will look back at the initial arguments that spurred the feminist movement when Betty Friedan published
The Feminine Mystique and compare them with mod-ern arguments made by contemporary female leaders such as Sheryl Sand-berg, COO of Facebook/author of Lean In, Marissa Mayer, CEO of Yahoo, and Lisa Bloom author of Think. Several guest speakers will be featured, includ-ing leading women from our communi-ty.
