The Future of STEM in New Jersey - April 19, 2022

Register now for this important event as we elevate the discussion regarding the critical role that STEM education plays in empowering NJ to lead in the global marketplace of the 21st century. In addition, we will explore concepts for successfully expanding the STEM curriculum for K-12 students and beyond.

Warren Community College has partnered with PITSCO Education and Warren County Technical School to focus on real-world problem-solving skills for the future, along with a special keynote presentation from New Jersey Senator Steven V. Oroho (R), Republican Leader - District 24, followed by an open panel discussion and hands-on activities and demos.

10:00 a.m. - Keynote Presentation: Vision of STEM in New Jersey

10:15 a.m. - Open Panel Discussion

Audience participates in an open forum to discuss the current state of STEM in New Jersey, roadblocks and challenges that exist, options for beginning the STEM journey, and open exploration of what the future holds.

11:15 a.m. - Breakout Sessions

Participants can use this time to get hands-on experience with drones and robotics, engage in peer discussions, and enjoy snacks and refreshments.
