In today's connected society mobile phone access and data usage is becoming a way of life. Please join us to learn more about the nuts and bolts on the back end of cell tower operations. This event will involve a tour of a cellular tower building and a short technical presentation.
We are inviting industry experts and employers (Project Engineer from Verizonand a prominent representative from a local Engineering Firm) to this informal meeting on cellular technology and cell tower engineering / project management. The location in Dunedin was chosen as a new antenna array is planned to go on a water-tower across the street.
6:30-7:30 - Informal greeting time and tour. The plan is to caravan in groups of eight to drive across the street do a short tour (we expect four caravans total) and then come back and eat.
7:30 – 8:00. Food is being catered from Sonny’s Barbecue. After eating we will have a look at some sample drawings and have a Technical Discussion by local Engineers and Project Managers,
8:30-9:00 Questions and wrap-up.
Sonny’s Barbecue brought in Buffet Style – Pork, Chicken, Baked Beans, Cornbread, Mac and Cheese, Vegetables. Iced Tea and Lemonade.
