John Cerveny from NY-BEST will present information on the current state of energy storage technologies and market opportunities - with a particular focus on opportunities at every stage of the supply chains for these systems. John is the Director of Resource Decelopment for NY-BEST where he leads efforts to make connections between members, funding sources and the community at large. Cervany has held senior leadership positions at several fuel cell companies - including Plug Power, GE MicroGen, MTI Microfuel Cells and Lilliputtian Systems.

The markets for advanced battery and energy storage technologies are large and growing, and New York State is home to both significiant markets for these technologies and numberous companies and organizations that are directly involved in research, development, manufacturing, system integration, sales, instalation and service.  Recognizing this, New York State in 2010 made a strong investment to create the New York Battery and Energy Storage Technology Consortium or NY-BEST.
