LEAN FOCUS:

Lean focuses on identifying and eliminating non-value-added activities from a company’s processes while streamlining its value-added activities.  It is a people–oriented approach that empowers a team to take action to achieve improvements.  Lean tools and implementation are the best way to effectively use a company’s most valuable resource … its people!

However, we do not always see the opportunities for improvement because “we do not clearly see the waste”. Improvement Teams want to charge ahead and fix the operation, IF they know what to fix? Learn to see the waste!  Be in a position to contribute improvement generating ideas clearly, effectively and on target!

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

  • Senior Managers
  • Manufacturing personnel charged with project management, process improvement and Lean initiatives
  • Employees needing a refresher
  • Those  interested in getting started with Lean

Take the Wooden Car Challenge

Participate in this exercise to see the waste!

THE RESULTS ARE EYE OPENING! LEAN CONVERTED FIRMS TEND TO:
  • Achieve higher schedule performance
  • Have higher inventory turns, reduce WIP and Finished Goods
  • Closer supplier partnerships
  • Improved participation and morale
  • Have lower defect rates
  • Shorter order to customer cycles & lead times
  • Greater gross margins

READ ABOUT WHAT OTHERS SAY ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:

When asked, participants stated that they would spend up to $1000 for this course.
"The event was great! Small class size, great speaker and clean classroom. Would highly recommend."

J.P. Electronics Manufacturer

"This helped me immensely in understanding what my boss is talking about when he has expressed interest in implementing this process."
A.M. Metal Manufacturer

"I found this presentation to be very helpful. There was some discussion of business process and lean for office which helped me since most of my projects are in the office, with only a few at the facility and distribution center."
A.N. Local Manufacturer

“I attended the Lean Workshop so that I could learn a little more about the concepts of lean, and be able to have more educated conversations with my manufacturing clients.  I did not foresee your presentation helping me become more productive on a daily basis.  Simply implementing the elements of 5S has had a tremendous positive effect on my daily routines!”   John Crowley | Vice President | Commercial Insurance | Cook Maran & Associates

Registration Deadline:  February 3, 2016
