Susan Earley - Data Management Body of Knowledge (DMBOK)
September 24 at SRP

SESSION SUMMARY:  DAMA Phoenix is happy to have Susan Earley present on the Data Management Body of Knowledge (DMBOK) at our Sep 24, 2015 meeting.  The DMBOK is a significant resource for defining the various aspects of enterprise data management.  Written by over 120 data management practitioners, the DAMA Guide to the Data Management Body of Knowledge (DAMA-DMBOK) is the most impressive compilation of data management principles and best practices ever assembled. It provides data management and IT professionals, executives, knowledge workers, educators, and researchers with a framework to manage their data and mature their information infrastructure.  The 2nd version of the DMBOK is being consolidated and reviewed, and Susan will speak to both DMBOK V1 and V2.

SPEAKER:  Susan Earley has spent the last 25 years working in data management in various ways, starting with application development, data warehouse development and management, data modeling, and into data architecture. She was the Assistant Editor for the DAMA-DMBOK released in 2009, and the editor for the 2011 edition of the DAMA Dictionary of Data Management. She is currently editing the DAMA-DMBOK2.
