Your Instructor

Diana Friedell, Metaphysician, Minister, Teacher, actress, and director, received her advanced training in the  Spiritualist tradition from Fellowships of the Spirit in Lily Dale, NY.  She has been doing readings  & teaching for 20 years. Diana is  a  2004 graduate of the School for Healing and Prophecy through Fellowships of the Spirit in Lily Dale, NY, and a graduate of SUNY Oneonta in Teaching.  In 2015 Diana was accepted into the Ministry at the Institute for Spiritual Development in Washington, D.C.  and recently helped establish the newly chartered Institute for Spiritual Development right here in Oneonta along with her sister Susan Landon. Diana was called to this work as a result of her search for spiritual meaning after her youngest son passed away tragically in 1994.  Diana is available for private appointments, energy healing, meditation classes, parties, phone readings and intuitive development classes.

Creating your Holistic Practice



So you're a gifted reader or healer and friends keep asking you for healing or for a psychic reading.  Have you had the call?  Is Spirit urging you to set up a practice?

This class is designed, for those who feel ready with experience in intuitive development or healing training, to prepare you for the next step.  In this class, taught by 20 year Psychic Intuitive, SHIFT NY Fair Director & ISD Faculty, Diana Friedell, we will address everything you need to know to start an effective practice that reflects who you are and your God given gifts.  In class we will cover: 

  • Each person will write a short effective biography of themselves and what they do, for event promotion purposes & present it to the group for honest feedback and fine tuning.
  • Each person will write & tell the story of their "calling" to this work, until it is a convenient elevator speech.
  • The unique structure of your client session Creating rapport, and sacred space.
  • Develop a description of your services. 
  • Each person will develop  their introductory explanation of their unique process
  • We will practice with each other, with our new structure, and give feedback to eachother.
  • Ethics do's and don'ts.
  • Effective Tools for networking & getting your name out. Should I advertise and where?
