Rhode Island Center for the Book in collaboration with National Education Association RI, Rhode Island PBS, and the Reading Across Rhode Island Education Committee. 

Rhode Island Center for the Book has chosen True Biz, by Sara Novic, as the Reading Across Rhode Island 2023 selection. As part of this project, RI Book, NEA RI, Rhode Island PBS and the Reading Across Rhode Island Education Committee are collaborating to provide educators, librarians, and book discussion leaders across the state with topics and strategies to engage readers with the book and its themes. All stakeholders are encouraged to attend.

The event features an exciting combination of educators along with community members and organizations who will share personal and professional experiences. The online session will be held via Zoom from 6:30-8:00 p.m.

Attendees can request free book sets while supplies last. Professional development certificates for educators will be provided. We hope that you can join us for this engaging and important event.
