PARKING & REGISTRATION
Park at Papa John's Stadium. In the parking lot it is very important for you to meet us at LIGHTPOST 6 in PARKING LOT "B". It is clearly marked on the lightpost as this is place that you will register and recieve the following:
1. T-shirt or Staff Shirt to work in.
2. $10 per day per diam
3. Credentials to get into Churchill Downs
4. Your sales location assingment with map
DIRECTIONS TO PAPA JOHN'S
- From 1-65 or 1-64 take Watterson Expressway West bound.
- Take the Southern Parkway/ 3rd st. exit (Exit 10)
- At the bottom of the ramp turn right onto 3rd St.
- At the 3rd St/ Southern pkwy intersection veer right staying on 3rd st.
- At the 3rd St. / Central intersection, turn right onto Central. Follow Central over the overpass (Kroger will be on your right and papa johns football stadium on your left). Go to the intersection of Central & Floyd.
- Turn right onto Floyd and then right into the parking lot.
Parking is $5 on these days as long as you are there before 8am (which everyone will be).
There will be a shuttle running from the parking lot to Churchill Downs but it does cost $10 each way. In years past typically everyone walks to the track. Please note that it is about a 10-15 minute walk so please allow extra time to get to your sales location.

We need volunteers for the following days:
It is time again for G.O. Ministries' single largest fundraising event of the year. Last year with your help we were able to raise a record amount of $55,000! Please help us make a difference all over the world by giving of your time and talent. It is amazing how much of an impact you can have by just volunteering for 2 1/2 days!

Here are the details: The Game is the company that produces most of the NCAA sports fan gear, hats, outwear, etc. They have been the official merchandise provider for The Kentucky Derby & Oaks for the last 8 years. The Game has been partnering with G.O. Ministries by offering us money if we can set up & staff their souvenir booths. We need sales people for the week prior to Derby, but the real big days are Thursday, May 2nd, Friday, May 3rd & Saturday, May 4th.
We are up to the challenge again this year and would like you to help us by volunteering and getting the word out! Please consider helping us out.
We need 60 people that can work all three "BIG" days: May 2nd, May 3rd, and May 4th. We need people that can work both days. We will not be able to split a day shift. At the very least we need a 12 hour commitment. With all of our volunteers The Game has requested that you be at least 16 years of age.
If you know someone who wants to help out but can only commit to one day we can CERTAINLY use them but we really NEED people who can do both if possible. Help us earn over $50,000 for the ministry again this year!
