 44th Annual Fair-on-the-Square

October 6, 2018

9:00 am - 4:00 pm

 Fair Guidelines/Regulations

  1. Entry fee is $35.00 for EACH 14 X 14 space EXCEPT IN THE FOOD SECTION. Poles, anchors and tents  must fit in this space.  No holes may be dug or pegs driven into the lawn. Tents must be anchored by means other than tent pegs.   Spaces are reserved on a first come, first served basis.
  2. Entry fee for FOOD area is $50.00 for EACH 14 X 14 space. ALL booths selling/preparing food must locate in SITES 25–48, the designated area next to the Harvey Street side of the courthouse. Spaces  33-42 will be located in the street next to the sidewalk instead of on the courthouse lawn. Vendors with trucks are encouraged to register for one of these spaces. When these spaces are filled, no other food spaces will be rented. Cookers must be within the booth in an enclosed area away from pedestrian traffic; e.g. surrounded by tables.
  3. Electrical outlet locations are marked on the map with an E.  Other than in the food court most outlets are near the courthouse.  There is no charge for electricity, but vendors who require electricity should register early for a space accessible to an outlet.  Vendors need to supply their own heavy duty extension cords.  Vendors cannot use personal generators
  4. This is an arts and crafts show.  No used clothing, jewelry, furniture or any flea market type items will be permitted.  Commercially produced, novelty items will be restricted to Sites 49-101.  Vendors should not sell items that encourage children to run and chase each other, i.e. “Silly String” and “Poppers,” or items that are potentially dangerous, such as knives.
  5. Vendors may set up on Friday afternoon after 5:00 p.m. or on Saturday before 9:00 a.m.  Spaces need to be confirmed with a Main Street Millen member before set up.
  6. Vendors must supply their own change, tables, chairs, tents, etc., and clean up space when the event is over.
  7.  Vendor name or organization should be displayed on booth.
  8.  No vehicles may be parked on the Courthouse lawn, on sidewalks or on the blocked off street areas.  The Jenkins County Library parking lot is reserved for vendors.  Please have vehicles off the street by 9:00 AM.
