BioSAXS Essentials 6: Getting Started in Biological Small-Angle X-ray Solution Scattering

MacCHESS is offering an intensive HOWTO course in BioSAXS described at http://meetings.chess.cornell.edu/BioSAXSEssentials/. On-site cost for academics/industry is $200/$300, but it is now closed because we have met our limit. However, you may still participate online; remote cost for academics/industry is $25/$50.

For those who will be participating on-site, please note that you are responsible for your own travel and lodging, however, we reserved a block of rooms at the Ramada Inn (607) 257-3100 for the nights of May 12, 13 and 14. Call for reservations and ask for the “Cornell BioSAXS CHESS” rate of $129.95/night.

Students will be assigned into small groups for 6 hour data collection slots starting Friday night and running through Sunday morning. If you are coming as a group or if you need a particular time slot (due to early departing flight), please notify Richard Gillilan (reg8@cornell.edu) for scheduling. Lectures and tutorials are finished by noon on Saturday. There are no other officially scheduled activities besides your data collection slot, so you may wish to make your travel arrangements once you know when your slot will be.
