More About the Artist
His first album “Ophelia” was his loftiest work to date. Produced by Caleb Hawley (American Idol), we see on “Ophelia” just how life in the city has affected Schmitt, now a resident of Brooklyn, as he takes us along for many stories of life, love, loss, and coffee consumption.
His latest release, The American Way EP, shows Schmitt's maturity and willingness to experiment with new sounds. Specifically, we see how getting older has shaped his views on family, on relationships, and on life.
Besides being a prolific writer, Schmitt is also know to be a "human jukebox," able to play and sing thousands of songs of nearly all genres. He occasionally launches into them during his shows, so you never know what comes next."
Chef Tory Aunspach has been in the hospitality industry for more than 20 years. He has been a corporate trainer for some the country’s best known restaurants. He has consulted as a wine educator and beverage specialist for several award winning restaurants like Aix Restaurant, winner of Wine Spectator’ Golden Spoon Award, and Latitude 48 in Whitefish, MT. Working for celebrity Chefs like James Beard Award winner Richard Grenameyer of Bluefish Restaurant, Chef Tory honed his skills as a chef mastering modern interpretations of American classics and inventive fine dining seafood dishes. With Aunspach Catering he became known for creating memorable food events specializing in Italian, Mediterranean, French, and New Orleans/Cajun cuisine. His clients included Jacksonville’s top business leaders, restaurateurs, and celebrities. Whether you are in the mood for seafood, steak, fine dining, or just mouthwatering comfort food Chef’s Tory culinary skills will surely satisfy. He is very adept at meeting everyone’s tastes and creating dishes each guest will enjoy.
