Join the Shop Local 365, Shop Morton: Hometown Holidays Today!

What is it? Hometown Holidays provides an opportunity for businesses and organizations to plan activities and come together for a Shop Local 365 promotion during the upcoming holiday season. 

Hometown Holidays is supported by the Morton Chamber of Commerce, the I Shop Morton Committee and the PLaCE (Pumpkin Land Community Events), and the Village of Morton.

When is it?

Friday, November 16 from 5:00 - 9:00 pm: Kick off with strolling holiday experiences, Santa, and Community Christmas Tree Lighting - Memorial Plaza at 7 pm.

Saturday, November 17 from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm: Downtown activites with Santa, holiday characters and train rides.  Additional promoted experiences around the community throughout the day!  Shop and dine local with promotions running through Small Business Saturday on November 24 and continuing with promoted events through December.

What will you get?

• Advertising in local newspapers, social media, radio advertisements, posted signs, and flyers to schools.
• Ad or coupon included on the Chamber website, posted on the I Shop Morton Facebook page, and in the printed (2,000 copies) holiday guidebooks. The holiday guidebooks will be given out at key locations including hotels and participating Hometown Holidays locations. Coupons expire December 30 or your stated expiration.

What are you asked to do?

• Decorate your store with a Christmas theme. The shinier the better. Twinkle lights always look great!
• Register to join Hometown Holidays: $20.00 for Chamber member and $60.00 for non-Chamber members.
