ABOUT US
Byron Community Wellness Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization founded in 1994. BCWF is dedicated to promoting a safe, healthy, caring and exciting community. BCWF has been involved with many community projects, including:

Artist Registration
The 6th Annual West Michigan Chalk Art Festival is proudly sponsored by Byron Community Wellness Foundation. The WMCAF will bring the talented and color-filled work of gifted chalk artists to Byron Center. Artists of all levels are invited to compete for awards in several categories.
Chalk Provided: One box of 24 pieces of rich pastel chalk provided for each registered artist or family/team. Additional chalk in boxes available for a reasonable charge. Artists are also welcome to supply their own chalk.
Deadline: While onsite registrations will be available, to insure availability of artist spaces, chalk and T-shirts, registrations must be in by May 18, 2015.
Theme: Byron Community Wellness Foundation has a focus on wellness in its activities. Wellness can include physical health, healthy nutrition and emotional well-being. For those interested, the Chalk Art Festival will have a theme and award category dedicated to “Wellness.”

KidsChalk, a free event located at the West Michigan Chalk Art Festival, is a chance to introduce budding artists to this unique art form. Participants will receive a certificate for taking part. KidsChalk is for all children 11 and younger. Parents, grandparents, siblings, and friends are all welcome. No registration is required for KidsChalk. And the chalk is free!
