Protecting Our Pollinators with the Xerces Society: Community Supported Conversation

At Pitney Meadows, we know how important our native pollinators are to the success of our crops and the health of our agro-ecosystem. In fact, the Xerces Society of Invertebrate Conservation helped us to develop a Conservation Site Plan in 2021 and donated over 1,700 woody and perennial plants that support the needs of pollinators with food, shelter and host plants throughout the growing season and even overwinter.

Join us in conversation with the Xerces Society to discuss strategies for supporting pollinators in our community and why this is so important to the health of our local ecosystem. From working lands to backyard gardens, there is something we can all do to protect our pollinators!
