The movement towards value-based care is changing how behavioral health organizations need to think about and work with clinical data.  It is driving the evolution from outputs to outcomes and now to actionable insights in order to continuously improve clinical performance.  In this workshop, participants will learn from a mix of presentation, discussion, and hands on exercises to help them understand the various steps in a data measurement framework.

This will be led by Christy Winter, the Manager of Clinical Informatics and Outcomes at Qualifacts. Christy is responsible for all clinical features and outcomes capabilities within the CareLogic EHR platform. In addition, Christy is also responsible for ensuring CareLogic integrates healthcare reform compliance and outcomes so customers have access to useful data in order to improve decision-making, enhance performance, and target areas for improvement. Prior to joining Qualifacts, Christy held a variety of clinical leadership roles – most recently she served as the Director of CQI and Practice-Based Research at Families First, a children and family services nonprofit organization. Christy earned a B.A. at Emory University and graduated from Georgia State University with a Master’s in Social Work. Her knowledge and experience will help make this workshop valueable to you and your organization.
