What is Emerging Leaders?
Emerging Leaders is a program for young professionals 40 years of age and younger who want to develop as the next generation of community leaders and philanthropists.
As a group, we participate in volunteer activities, educational forums, professional development, social events and other activities.
Anyone 40 or under can attend up to two monthly programs to see if they'd like to become a member.

Nonprofit Board & Committee Connect
Every other year, Columbia Bank (formerly Pacific Continental) and United Way Emerging Leaders team up to bring together 25 nonprofits with open board & committee positions and young professionals interested in sharing their energy and time for volunteer and board opportunities!
This event is a facilitated networking "one stop shop" for young professionals to learn directly from organizational leaders about nonprofits in the community who can benefit from their skills.
Join us for a night of connections if you're ready to step on a board and want to find the right one, or if you're not ready yet but want to learn about options for the future. Drinks and light appetizers will be provided – space is limited so reserve your spot now!
