The Nashville Singers organization was founded in November of 2008 by a handful of men committed to excellence in vocal and choral performance. The chorus performs a diverse, primarily a cappella repertoire, covering many genres of music.

In almost six years, this volunteer group has grown from four to 17 singers, learned 64 songs, released two CDs, racked up 85 performances for 51 organizations in nine counties across Tennessee, and produced a successful concert series which has attracted a combined 2,000+ attendees from 43 cities in 10 states across the USA.

Their concert audiences have ranged in size from a few hundred to 4,000 people.

The mission of the Nashville Singers is to enrich lives through singing and the support of music education. This support comes in the form of music education grants, college scholarships, master classes in area schools, and an annual free singing lessons program called Acappella Academy. In the last five years, the Nashville Singers have awarded $10,750 in music education grants and scholarships impacting hundreds of students across Middle Tennessee.

The singers are all volunteers, range in age from 23 to 83, and travel from Brentwood, Franklin, Hermitage, Hendersonville, Nashville, Portland, Murfreesboro, Smyrna, and La Vergne to participate in chorus activities.

The Nashville Singers have had the pleasure of singing for several dignitaries, including Nashville Mayor Karl Dean, United States Senator Trent Lott, Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam, and Lieutenant Governor Ron Ramsey to name a few.

The Nashville Business Journal’s annual “Book of Lists” ranked the Nashville Singers in the "Top 10" on their annual list of the “Top 20” performing arts organizations in Nashville.

Special Guest Artist
THE ARCADIAN WILD

In the fall of 2013, Lipscomb University students Everett Davis, Lincoln Mick, and Sarah Wood began collaborating and playing music together. After recording a few songs the following winter, and gaining some experience performing on the campus of their university's campus, The Arcadian Wild trekked out to Sarah's home in Pueblo,CO for the summer of 2014. During their stay in the Midwest, the group released their debut album, The Colorado EP, and spent their time tightening up their sound through a slew of live performances in Colorado, Arizona, Wyoming, and California. Upon their return to Nashville, the trio grew into a quartet with the addition of gifted multi-instrumentalist Isaac Horn. The group continues to grow sonically, developing their unique brand of alternative folk, and enjoying the kind of diversity that results from the collaboration of four talented songwriters.

With a Special Appearance by
THE FOUNDERS QUARTET

Back in the summer of 2008, four men got together, not to sing, but to lay the groundworkfor the formation of a new nonprofit organization called The Nashville Singers, Inc. Out of those early meetings was born a new men’s a cappella group dedicated to vocal excellence and the support of music education. It wasn’t until the fall of 2013 that these guys even thought of forming a quartet. It just never came up. After running through a few songs at a Nashville Singers rehearsal, they agreed to make a cameo appearance on the 2013 Season of Harmony concert as The Founders Quartet. The members include Bruce Cokeroft (tenor),Taylor Wilson (lead), Harlan Wilson (baritone), Todd Wilson (bass)
