The Cause

Named in honor of one of Tall Timbers’ most treasured supporters, the Kate Ireland Memorial Dinner & Auction is a fundraising event held annually
benefiting Tall Timbers Foundation, Inc. for Tall Timbers research and conservation programs.

Tall Timbers’ research focus is the ecology and management of fire-dependent ecosystems, and wildlife, including bobwhite quail, in the Southeastern Coastal Plain. Our conservation efforts are dedicated to helping protect the distinctive, rural landscape of the Red Hills Region of South Georgia and North Florida and its traditional land uses. Our education program transfers research and conservation information for resource management.

The Event

Tall Timbers honors Cornelia G. "Cornie" Corbett during the 19th Annual Dinner &  Auction for her dedication and commitment to Tall Timbers and our mission.

The 19th Annual Kate Ireland Dinner & Auction will be held Sunday evening, September 18th at Glen Arven Country Club in Thomasville, Georgia.

The festivities include a cocktail reception, a silent and live auction, and a dinner. The event attracts bidders not only from within the Red Hills Region but, due to auction items unique to this event, our auction attracts a national audience. Each year the auction features an inspiring collection of world class artwork, unparalleled hunting and fishing opportunities, and unique offerings from the Red Hills Region and beyond.  The silent auction is also available online.
