August 9 Federal Policy Dinner:
Former Congressman Tom Davis

"Campaign 2022, the Red Tidal Wave, and the Future of Joe Biden"

Most know Tom Davis as a former Congressman, former Supervisor and former Chair of the Fairfax Board of Supervisors – not to mention field general for the National Republican Congressional Committee.

But in his post-elected office career, Tom has carved a career that includes author of two best-selling books on politics, college professor, George Mason University Rector, partner at Holland and Knight law firm, and “go-to guy” for reporters seeking rapid fire political analysis.

Davis was chair of the National Republican Congressional Committee when the GOP not only kept but expanded the Republican majority during the George W. Bush Administration – a rarity for any party in the mid-term election when that party holds the White House.

Throughout his tenure in Congress, he was widely recognized as a skilled legislator, an honest broker, and a political mastermind.  He is known for his encyclopedic knowledge of political minutia, often lecturing members of Congress on the electoral history of their own districts.

At August 9’s Federal Policy Dinner, Tom will bring his skills to bear, analyzing the current state of Campaign 2022, the prospects for a “Red Tidal Wave,” and Joe Biden’s future.
