Marketing Your Business via "Events" - A Three-Session Series – C0045
Session 1: What is an "event?" Why have an event?
Date/Time: Thursday, September 19, 2019 from 5:00 - 6:00pm
Session 1 Location: Southside Commerce Center
When people attend an event, they have already decided that they wanted/needed to be there. This workshop will define an event and discuss how to set the purpose and specific goals – goals you want to achieve. It will also discuss the thought process in deciding whether an event is right to promote your business.
Session 2: What it takes to put on a successful event.
Date/Time: Thursday October 10, 2019 from 5:00 - 6:00pm
Session 2 Location: Audubon Amherst Public Library
Events are designed to meet your specific objectives. For attendees, hallmark events are ones that are effortless, where the planning and organizing is invisible. Whether for business or pleasure, an event should be memorable, one that produces the results you want to achieve.
This workshop will bring you through what happens behind the scenes. It will provide insight into the steps to create a successful event, the expectations while the event is in progress, and, the follow through once the event is over.
Session 3: “Event” Realities – A Round Table Event with Local Business Leaders
