TO BE RESCHEDULED: Beyond AGOA Compliance: Strategies for Successfully Trading & Doing Business in Africa

The U.S. African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA) was enacted with the objective of increasing the volume of trade between the United States and Sub-Saharan Africa. It aims to achieve this by significantly reducing and eliminating tariffs and quotas for certain goods exported from qualifying African countries to the United States.

This webinar will discuss the intentions and current state of affairs for the African Growth Opportunity Act as well as the successes and challenges that have been encountered by the participating countries.  The webinar will focus on strategies to help U.S. entrepreneurs, companies, and organizations take advantage of what AGOA currently has to offer when trading with sub-Saharan African countries.

Join OWIT on Thursday, January 29, 2015, at 12 NOON EST, for this webinar which is specially targeted to women engaged in trade and business.
