"Many Directions, Many Choices: Creating a Path to College and Career Readiness" March 11, 2017
The OCPS Parent Academy is an educational resource for all families, schools and community members. It was established to promote student success, parent growth and to provide vital educational opportunities to strengthen the connections between families, schools and the community.
March 11th Parent Academy will include:
- "Mini Academy" for Parents of Children Birth - Age 4 (3 Sessions)
- Orange Technical College
- PTA Roundtable and Sessions
- FAFSA (Financial Aid for College) Help Session
- Understanding School Grades
- ELL Support
- Digital Literacy
- Math Support for Elementary Grades 6 - Algebra1
- ESE Parent Support
- FREE Book for Each Child
- FREE Lunch ( Jersey Mike's Subs)
- FREE Breakfast Snacks
- FREE Parent Academy Tote Bag for Each Adult
- FREE Youth Academy (Childcare) for Ages 4 - 18 with Attending Adult
- Special Youth Session: Healthy Heart Organ Party Presented by Mentoring in Medicine
- Special Appearance by Clifford the Big Red Dog
- Exhibit Hall
- Face Painting, Give Aways and Much More!!
