Brookhaven's January 2020 Seminar - Introduction to Clinical Studies

You're invited to Brookhaven's first Professional Seminar Series (hosted the first Wednesday of every month) of 2020. The seminar will be Wednesday, January 8th, 2020 and has a cost of a $20 fee covering 1.5 pre-approved CEU’s and a catered lunch. Payments in the form of check (made out to Brookhaven Hospital) or cash are accepted at the door on the day of the seminar.

Patty Fleshman, MA will present "Introduction to Clinical Studies"

This presentation is a basic introduction to clinical studies describing the different phases of clinical study with a focus Phase 1-3 with human subjects.  

Goals of the presentation are to: Increase understanding of how medications are tested and brought to market, increase awareness of the time and financial support required to bring new medications to your patients, and learn about the research being done in your area to bring new medication treatment to mental health clients.
