SAPA 2018 Public Service Excellence Awards
The State Academy for Public Administration's 2018 Public Service Excellence Awards ceremony will be held on May 21st 2018 at Rockefeller College in Milne Hall, Room 200. This is a fitting opportunity to celebrate some of your esteemed colleagues.
Join us as we honor and celebrate outstanding public servants. This SAPA event is being co-sponsored by the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy and the NY Capital Chapter of the Association of Government Accountants (AGA).
There is no charge for this event, but registration is required.
This year's SAPA Public Service Excellence Awards will go to 3 individuals and 1 combined team. The Association of Government Accountants (AGA) also will be recognizing a member of that group with their 2018 Outstanding Achievement in Government Accountability Award.
The 2018 SAPA Excellence Awards will go to:
- Paul Bembia, NYS Energy Research & Development Authority
- Daniel Cunningham - NYS Office of General Services
- Elsa Magee - NYS Higher Education Services Corporation
- Tax Reform Team - Executive Chamber, Division of the Budget, Department of Taxation & Finance
The AGA Award will go to:
- Richard G. Thomas
Deputy Director NYS Statewide Financial System
Hors d'oeuvres, soft drinks, tea and coffee will be provided beginning at 5 p.m.
