Presentation abstract:
Cybercrime represents the fastest growing cause of data center outages, rising from 2 percent in 2010 to 22 percent in 2016. The cost of global cyber espionage is approximately $500 billion annually, hitting $1 Trillion, if the costs associated with stolen intellectual property are included. The average cost of a data breach rose to $4M in 2016, or $158 per lost or stolen record. This presentation is about a Secure Application Infrastructure. This security is provided through the abstraction of an application from the infrastructure, granular application-alignment of security policies, and hypervisor-based infrastructure protection.
