Acorn Harvester Training - CLOSED

In this class, participants will receive specific training on oak biology, acorn gathering, conservation and genetics, and materials needed for acorn collection and temporary storage.

A $5 parking fee per car is required to enter Effie Yeaw Nature Center. Once you have parked in the nature center parking lot, follow the paved pathway toward the buildings. Follow signs to the amphitheater located behind the main building.

We want to ensure that your time with us is a success!  Please prepare for this event in the following ways:

• Wear weather appropriate clothing, close toed shoes, and sunscreen
• Bring along a reusable  water bottle
• Pack a lunch or some snacks
• Bring your completed Volunteer Release form
