 Our April meeting features the owner of ZaPow Gallery, Lauren DeWorde.   ZaPow is focused exclusively on graphic arts and illustration, representing more than 100 individual artists. 

Like many entrepreneurs, Lauren started her business after more than a decade of educational, yet frustrating, experience in corporate America.   She opened her gallery 6 years ago with the help of a Mountain BizWorks loan.   After achieving considerable success, she was thrown a curveball by a landlord who quadrupled her rent and then terminated her lease when she complained about it.   She persevered and reopened her gallery in new space in the South Slope community late last fall. 

Lauren is reinventing herself again in an entirely new venture. Come hear her amazing story, learn about finding your passion and making it happen, overcoming obstacles, continuous evolution and creating new paths.

Members of the SCORE Women’s Business Roundtable, A-B Tech Small Business Center clients and women entrepreneurs.  You are welcome to bring a guest (woman entrepreneur).  Please include their information with your registration. 

What's next? 

Meetings are held quarterly on the 3rd Thursday of the month.  Meetings in 2018 are January 18, April 19, July 19 and October 18.   Meetings feature successful women entrepreneurs focusing on what worked, what didn't and lessons learned as they created and grew their business.
