MADC Virtual Education Forum

 Noon-2:00pm

The Future is NOW

NOTE NEW DATES: June 14 and 28 - Noon-2:00pm

MADC’s Quality Council will be delivering a series of Virtual Education Forums over the next few months that will explore new financing mechanisms, opportunities related to integration with primary care, and new service delivery models. The Future is NOW series will be offered in three parts each consisting of two modules - allowing for attendee flexibility. Attendees can register by part-Part One, Two or Three- but may not register by module.

Part One

Module 1: Same Day Access Isn't as Hard as You Think

Hundreds of organizations across the nation have moved to a same day access model, a new requirement for integrated care. This webinar will educate providers about the steps they would need to take to move to Same Day Access, and strategies that would ensure its long-term sustainability. Participants will discuss best practices and lessons learned from more than 500 Same Day Access transitions that have taken place across the country.

Key Learning Objectives: (1.) The five steps to Same Day Access; (2.) Common implementation mistakes and how to avoid them; (3.) Sideline strategies to ensure long-term sustainability

Module 2: Sustaining Open Access

Same day access has historically been the gold standard of care for an organization. However, as more healthcare providers move toward offering integrated models of care, efficiencies such as same day access have become the standard expectation. The second webinar in our series will discuss ways to ensure sustainability of open access by enhancing other areas of operations and service delivery within an organization. The webinar will help prevent open access from becoming a burden at the secondary and tertiary service delivery levels.

Key Learning Objectives: (1.) Identify three system impacts that must be addressed to ensure sustainability; (2.) Learn the core principles to address each of the top three system impacts; (3.) Illustrate how enhancing other areas of operations improve the sustainability of your service delivery model.
