Form of Business Entity: Learn how to choose among the various legal entities, such as corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies or sole proprietorships, and how to obtain an employer identification number for tax purposes.
Employment taxes, withholding, etc.: Learn about compliance with employment and withholding tax rules, including determining who is an employee and who is an independent contractor.
Contract basics: Learn what constitutes a binding contract and how to enforce them.
Basic land use/landlord tenant rules: Learn the basics of local land use rules for businesses and the basics of leases and landlord tenant rules.
