FUNDRAISING PROGRESS
The mission of the Colonel Athletic Association is to provide expanded opportunities for the hundreds of Nicholls State University student-athletes. The CAA supplements student-athlete scholarships and other important needs.
You may choose to designate 100% of your gift to any of Nicholls' 14 NCAA Division I athletic programs. Your donation to the CAA helps Nicholls student-athletes in the following ways:
The Colonel Athletic Association is a subsidiary of the Nicholls Foundation which is a 501(c)(3) organization. The tax ID number of the Colonel Athletic Association is 72-6031425. Contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowable by law. Please contact your tax advisor for more information.
Contributions to the capital campaign of $5,000 or above may be pledged over three years. When making gifts over $5,000 please click the pay by check option and we will contact you to finalize your contribution. You may also mail in your donation by printing out this brochure.
All money generated from this project will directly support Nicholls Volleyball and your legacy will be an inspiration to student-athletes today and in the future.
Dear Supporter,
In order to perform at an elite level, our volleyball team must have the very best locker room facility. A large part of recruiting the best student-athletes across the nation, is being able to bring them into a prestigious environment.
Currently our volleyball team is located in a locker room inside Stopher Gym that only fits approximately 12 players, while we have a full roster of 18 student-athletes on the team. Our coaches offices, which haven’t been renovated since the 1970’s, are located in Shaver Gym away from the team.
With your help we can ensure that we will have the very best facility in the Southland Conference. The complete renovation of the west-wing of Stopher Gym, will show that commitment to excellence and it will provide our volleyball team with a brand new, state-of-the-art facility. With the new renovation our coaches will now have office space inside Stopher Gym, while providing our student-athletes with a locker room nearly tripled in size.
I have enclosed a brochure with a list of naming opportunites. I look forward to discussing your involvement with the CAA and Nicholls in the near future.
