Virtual Mental Health First Aid Training

Just as First Aid and CPR helps you assist an individual having a physical health crisis — even if you have no clinical training — Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to help someone who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. This eight hour training helps you identify, understand, and respond to signs of addictions and mental  illnesses. You will receive a resource manual and three year certification upon completion of the course.

The instructor led portion of this course will be held through video conference on Thursday, January 21st- you will need access to the internet and a computer or device with a camera and microphone.

You will soon begin receiving emails from the Mental Health First Aid learning management system. These emails will provide you with information on how to access your online pre-work, which must be completed before you can join us on January 21st.  Click here for a guide that will give you more information about what to expect from the online learning system and the overall course.

We look forward to seeing you all through video conference on January 21st!
