The Hook Fall Retreat 

Join The Hook for our first Fall Retreat at Elkhorn Ridge RV Resort and enjoy an overnight getaway. We have four fellow young professionals sharing some tips and tricks during short, easy to digest workshops. Come and enjoy feeding the resident buffalo and taking some time to relax and recharge.

The goal of this retreat is to Make Deeper Connections by improving your workplace habits. Learn more about finding professional relationships, time management while ignoring distractions, staying calm under pressure at work, and creating a morning routine to start your day with success. Interwoven throughout the retreat are opportunities to get away and recharge. At the retreat partake in sunrise yoga, experience the buffalo feeding, try out the new Miller Creek Pub, and make those deeper connections with your peers and yourself.

About Andrea: 

Andrea Bakeberg is the Executive Administrative Assistant for the Office of the President at Black Hills State University. Prior to that, she was the Assistant Director for the SD CEO Women’s Business Center from May 2015 – July 2019. Andrea graduated from Black Hills State University in 2012 with a Bachelor degree in Business Administration - Marketing and a Commercial Arts minor. She graduated with her MBA in Applied Management from Black Hills State University in May 2016. Andrea is currently serving as Vice President for the Zonta Club of Spearfish. She has been on the Board of Directors for The Matthews Opera House and Arts Center since 2017 and is currently serving as the President.

About Nathan: 

Nathan Hoogshagen grew up in Spearfish, attending and graduating from both Spearfish High School and Black Hills State University. Nathan has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's in Strategic Leadership.

He has been an executive with a chain of convenience and grocery stores, a technical director at a local church, and now owns four successful small businesses, as well as is the executive for a non-profit. Along with work, he teaches budget and personal development classes alongside others at Countryside Church and volunteers with several other non-profit organizations and programs in the Spearfish area.

About Aleisha: 

Aleisha Hale Huppler is the Director of Administrations at Darceo Inc and handles all of the Marketing, Human Resources, and Accounting for her firm. She has been very active in the community since living in Spearfish and currently sits on seven boards and/or committees. 

Aleisha holds the title of Lt. Governor for her district in Optimist Int. where she looks after all of the clubs in the black hills. Aleisha is called mom by kids around the world from hosting foreign exchange students every year, she also works part-time for Forte International where she looks after and places students in the black hills. 

Aleisha also helps manage her and her husband's company, HHH Performance and Repair, in Spearfish. 

Aleisha is involved in her church and serves as a Youth Leader every Wednesday night and loves working with teenagers in any capacity. Currently, Aleisha attends Black Hills State University where she commits to full credit hours on top of her 40+ hour work weeks in efforts to achieve a degree in Business Management. 

In her free time, Aleisha enjoys traveling the world with her husband to visit their foreign exchange kids, spending time with her two huskies, and any type of motorsport!

About Clarissa:

Clarissa has been an E-RYT®500, YACEP® teacher since 2014 and has practiced since 2007. She travels to present at festivals and conferences, as well as leads retreats and yoga teacher trainings through Light The Spark Within Retreats. Clarissa teaches flow classes influenced by all the energies around her so no two classes are ever the same. She offers a variety of workshops and courses and leads Moon Ceremonies and specialty classes. Finding yoga during a challenging time in college allowed her to find her inner light and confidence which she hopes to share with those she encounters on and off the mat. Clarissa lives in Western South Dakota with her husband Wade and their pup Inkling. They love to hike, explore, camp, and play fetch!
