Learn how to create social narratives/stories to provide your child with insight into social situations

Our Presenter is Julie Arens, who is an experienced classroom teacher, and is currently the head of the Autism Intervention Team for Racine Unified School District.

Social Narratives/Stories are short stories that explain what happens, why it happens
and common responses to a given situation. They can be used to prepare an
individual for an uncertain event, to share information and to provide
strategies to deal with an event. Learn the necessary parts of a social story
and get practice writing them so you can begin to use this highly effective
strategy.
