Are you involved in crafting, but jealous because scrapbookers and quilters seem to have multiple retreats to choose from?  Well, this is  the answer!! 

Crafty Ladies Weekend Retreat (CLWR) is for ALL crafters who need some time off from “real life” to work on craft projects with the comradery of fellow crafters!

Bring your sewing, knitting, crocheting, card making, painting, anything!  Start a new project, finish a project, learn a new skill… 

Join us for a fun filled weekend!

Some things to keep in mind...

• Each registrant will have her own 6' table.


• Floor space is limited, so please refrain from bringing excess supplies.


• Nothing may be attached to meeting room walls by any means.


• A portable design wall will be available for quilters.


• Irons will not be provided, so BYO, if needed.


• It is recommended that you bring your own heavy duty extension coard and/or power strip and be prepared to share, if necessary.


• Music is a personal preference.  If you plan to listen to music, please use ear buds or headphones as a courtesy to others.


• Registration fee includes a dinner on Friday and Saturday nights and  a light breakfast on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

HOTEL ROOMS 

The Bismarck Ramada is holding rooms for Crafty Ladies Weekend Retreat attendees at discounted rate of $80 / night, until September 4th, (1 king or 2 queen beds).  Reservations must be made by the individual.  Call 701-258-7000.  Be sure to mention “Crafter’s Retreat”.

MEALS

Attendees are welcome and encouraged to bring snacks and beverages to share. We’ll have a designated snack buffet area.    Coffee and water will be supplied by the Ramada. Hotel guests are entitled to a complimentary breakfast. A light breakfast (Saturday and Sunday) and evenings meals (Friday and Saturday) are included with your registration fee.  Lunches will be on your own. 

DEMOS

Friday @ 7 pm - Forever.com w/ Lori Lockner - digital scrapbooking demo. Free accounts are available, so bring your laptop!  No charge.

Saturday @ 1 pm - Chalk Couture w/ Kathy Krein.  Project cost $30.  No charge to watch.

Saturday @ 8 pm - Wine Tasting w/ Pam Fenoff.  No Charge.

Chair Massages 

Alexis Rockey, LMT, will be available for 15 minutes massages on Friday between 10 am and 4:30 pm and on Saturday between 9 am and 1 pm.  Only 18 appointments are available, assigned on a first come, first served basis.

Door Prizes

Every attendee will receive two ticket towards door prize drawings with her registration. Attendees can earn additional tickets by:

• reserving a massage
• signing up to do the Chalk Couture project
• reserving a seat at the wine tasting
• opening a free Forever.com account during the demo
• bringing a snack to share
