Education in Healthcare: the Next Fundraising Goldmine - a LIVE Webinar Dec 6th @10am Eastern

Recently presented at the ASAE Annual Meeting in Chicago to over 100 association executives, Mr. Lieven Mariėn, external relations manager for MCI Benelux, will repeat his popular session on Thursday, December 6th, at 10am Eastern.

 

According to a recent study 53% of associations surveyed struggle to secure event  sponsors while member retention rates decrease by 16%.

Medical societies are not immune and experience a decline in interest from industry partners, resulting in a decline in sponsorship revenues.

What are we doing as associations to provide relevant offerings to industry partners and maintain ongoing stakeholder relations built on improved partner ROI?  Are we looking beyond the annual conference to locate such opportunities?

Based on these observations, MCI Benelux developed a 365° methodology whereby sponsors can select 24/7, where ever they are based, the sponsorship options that best suits to their budget and business focus.  For instance, can we give industry partners a choice to support education opportunities over exhibiting?

The 365° strategy features a dedicated and fully branded microsite listing all "real time" sponsorship opportunities including the different sponsorship levels.  To create a sense of urgency, the site showcases all confirmed purchases made by sponsoring companies and what they booked with the association.

Sponsors are able to select ą-la-carte options and design the package that best fits their needs.  Data are prepopulated automatically to simplify their experience and they can access real-time analytics or historical purchases made previously.

In this webinar, you will learn how a European-based healthcare association reached a 217% increase in sponsorship and exhibition revenues and gained the trust of 14 new sponsors in just two years; with the biggest sponsor investing 11.5 times more than its initial budget.  With this new strategy, long-term partnerships with industry partners was built extending opportunities well beyond its Annual Conference.
