Non-Profit Roundtable (Madison) | Google Apps: What It Can Do for Your Non-Profit 

Did you know Google provides its entire business apps package (known as Google Apps) to most non-profits for free?  What is Google Apps?  What if my organization can’t conform to the Google “cloud”?  Join us for our next roundtable for answers to these questions and explanations of the various cloud technologies that are useful and cost-effective in helping many non-profits streamline their work-flow and build a secure environment for their applications and data.

Some of the topics we’ll cover include:

• Cloud Computing – what exactly is it and why is everyone talking about it?
• Google Apps – what is it and how it can revolutionize your organizations’ work-flow for no monthly cost?
• Leveraging other cloud services to “virtualize” and secure your in-house software and data

Our presenter, Brian Knapp is the sole proprietor of HumanITy, LLC. He has been in the IT industry for over 15 years. He started HumanITy after having worked for large consulting firms and witnessed how advanced technology increased productivity and streamlined various business processes.  Unfortunately, he saw how those types of technologies are out of reach to the average non-profit organization, where they can be of the most value. His goal is to provide the appropriate technology and services, at a discounted rate, to nonprofit organizations.

The Wegner Non-Profit Roundtable group meets bi-monthly from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.

 Lunch will be provided for a nominal fee of $10.
