Non-profit volunteers are precious resources who require strategic recruitment and coordination if both the organization and the volunteers are to realize full potential. This session will help participants reflect on the assets your organization needs in your volunteers and how to effectively recruit, inspire and retain volunteers for the collaborative partnership that will drive your organization’s mission.

To respond to Volunteering in Today’s Landscape where volunteers can contribute 24 hours a day through technology and do not have to be committed to one organization, we will examine a model of effective volunteer management that has 8 steps for success:

Our presenter, Mary Stelletello is a Principal with Vista Global Coaching & Consulting. She brings more than 20 years experience in the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors to her coaching and consulting work. Prior to Vista Global, Mary was a Senior Associate with La Piana Consulting, a national management consulting firm. She works with clients including The Sierra Club, ACLU, League of Women Voters of CA, AARP, NAACP and The Hawaii Community Foundation.

The Wegner Non-Profit Roundtable group meets bi-monthly from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.

11:30 am - 12:00 pm – Lunch

12:00 pm - 1:00 pm – Presentation (qualifies for 1 hour of Continuing Professional Education)

Lunch will be provided for a nominal fee of $10.
