Presenting on "The Role of Stress and Anxiety on Addiction Recovery"
Course Abstract:
Understanding the body’s responses to stress can empower patient and practitioner to more rapidly get on the road to recovery and healing. These physiological responses are part of a circular chain reaction which negatively impacts our physiology and psychology. The physiological laws involved are predictable and unforgiving. Theyare also reciprocal and therefore can be used to turn-around the process that leads to healing from stress, trauma and addiction. Moreover, this course will provide pivotal information on the science of redirecting thephysiological and in turn the psychological responses to stress, anxiety and trauma for improved addiction recovery outcomes.
