For many gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) persons, learning to live openly and freely (coming out) is a difficult process.  We waste precious time and energy hiding an important part of our lives.  For family and friends, coming out and defending their GLBT loved one can be just as difficult.  The purpose of this workshop is to help participants better navigate the process.

Northaven UMC and Cathedral of Hope UCC alternate offering the Coming Out Workshops. The next workshop meets at Northaven for seven weeks on Tuesday evenings, April 8 though May 20, 2014, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.   It is facilitated by Jim McBride and Rev. Jane Graner.  There is no fee.
